Teen Charged with first degree murder

Jeffery Conroy only seventeen years old is being charged with many things. one of these things being first degree manslaughter as a hate crime. some other charges are gang assult and conspiracy and two others of attempted assult and attempted gang assult. there were six teenage co defendants meaning they helped Conroy. a man Marcello Lucero was walking to a friends appartment when he was attacked. Police found stab wounds to the chest and latter died of his injuries.

my opinion on this matter is there are to many lazy good for nothing parents in the world not watching their kids and letting them do whatever the hell they want and it starts to get out of hand when they find more unfortunate kids with crapy parents to do it with.

Homeland Security

November 17, 2008 – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced additional measures to strengthen private aircraft security by requiring more detailed information about arriving and departing private aircraft and persons onboard within a timeframe necessary for the Department to assess the risks that certain flights may pose to national security.  on november 21 2008 the statis of the threat on our counry was raised to yellow for the government. for flights and stuff it has been raised to orange meaning a high risk of terrorist attacks.

i think they need to get the risk down on our flights i know that they are not letting certain gels and things in bottles and stuff in your bags. they have also developed new security things to prevent things like a mind reader to see what you are thinking.

Election results

As we all know Barack Obamawon the presidential election. the results are 349 electoral votes in favor of Barack Obama and 139 electoral votes in favor of John McCain. 53% voted for Barack and 46% voted for John. this race has opened new horizons for African Americans around the united states. Young children who are African American are now setting their goals higher. Collegekids want to pursue a further education.

My opinion is that America has chosen the right person to lead us out of the trouble we are in. I believe he will help the economy better than McCain. He will Handel the war issue better than McCain by pulling out our troops.

Support Who?

I support Barack Obama. A Lot of people are against him because of the abortion issue. he has said that once the baby is almost born it is to late. i myself believe that a woman should have a choice if she wants an abortion or not. the youngest mother in the world was five years old now don’t you think she should have a choice of abortion or not. if a woman is rapped don’t you think she should have a choice. People are also against him for wanting to ban guns but as we all should know that will never pass.

Presidential Polls

The CBS poll is showing that Barack Obama is in the lead with an outstanding fifty three percent while John McCain has thirty nine percent. Also 88% of Clinton fans will vote for Obama they said and only 64% for McCain. Scholastic took a poll from kids ranging from kindergarden to 12th grade. They have picked senator Obama for their choice if allowed to vote.

washinton Post’s poll says that Obama is beating McCain by ten points 53% to 43%. McCain is said to be more negative and is attacking is opponent instead of addressing the issues the world really cares about.

My personal opinion is i dont know who to chose. Im more towards Obama for the fact that he wants to bring our guys home. and McCain is just another Bush wanting to spend more money that america does not have to fight this pretty much already won war.

Iraq Issue

John McCainhas after touring Iraq in 2003 he wanted more ground troops to smother the insurgency before they got bigger. he noticed that security was low. he has no plans in pulling our troops out until he is satisfied that we have conquered them. while families here in the states are missing our family members.

Barack Obama feels that the security over there is not getting any better. he believes that the reason for it not getting better is because president bush is not holding the Iraqi government accountable. there has been 1.75 million service men and women who have served. 620,00 of those men and women have done multiple tours. Obama wants to give his secretary of defence a new mission when he gets office that new mission will be ending the war and getting our troops out in sixteen months. while coinsiding with the iraqi officials.

if i was old enough to vote in this up coming election i would pick Barack Obama. just for the simple fact he will get our troops out asap. another reason is he is not greedy and is willing to give tax breaks and spend our money wisely. Another reason is in his campaign he is not trying to put down McCain as his primary plan of attack he is also focusing on the economy issue.

Financial Crisis

AIG or American International group is being looked upon. They took their executives on an exclusive luxury vacation not more than http://www.twincities.com a week after the government had to bail the struggling company out. The government gave the company eighty five million dollars to help them. They then spent 440,000 thousand dollars on a vacation 23,000 of that money went to pedicures and facials and luxuries items. This trip was for over http://www.forbes.com/markets/2008/10/08/aig-washington-retreat-face-markets-cx_lal_1008autofacescan01.html one hundred people who went on golf trips and stayed in lavish hotels. While the government was using our money to keep them from filing bankruptcy. The government is also offering the company another 37.8  million on top of what they gave them http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/08/national/main4509695.shtml?source=RSSattr=U.S._4509695 on September 16.

I think the government should let the company fall. A lot of people are now mad at the government and the company for spending all that money on themselves while the country is in a major crisis. I agree with them they have every right to be mad.

Obama And McCain Compaired on Iraq Issue

Obama: Said he was against the war in 2002 and has vowed to end the conflict and begin to withdraw the troops immediately. He is opposed to establishing permanent bases in Iraq, but says he would be prepared to send troops back in in case of a catastrophe or genocide. He has tried to tell the president that this would only be a distraction and some people think he is right.

McCain: Is a atrong supporter of the US surge launched in 2007. He has vowed “no surrender” and has said he is convinced that Washington is winning the war against the iraqy people. He has come under fire from Democrats for suggesting that US troops could be left in Iraq for 100 years. He just like bush has not one time wanted to pull our troops out of Iraq.

I like that Obama wants to withdtraw troops. But on the other hand he wants to give tax bre

this Harsh trdgidi will forever be in Americans minds and hearts for the rememberance of those who lost their lives. I now know how many of the families feel for the loss of their family member in a heroic attempt. My father was a fire fighter for the Olney Springs Fire Department when he was killed in the Ordway fire.
